The first picture I took had a very quick shutter speed. The shutter speed affects the amount of motion blur and the amount of light let in the photo. If the shutter is open for a long amount of time there will be a lot of motion blur a quick shutter speed will have the opposite affect. I used a quick shutter speed to capture my friend in mid air while jumping, the down side of using a quick shutter speed is less light is let in the photo.
The second picture I took I chose a large aperture or a very shallow depth of field. This made it so the subject of my portrait was in focus but the background is blurry. A large aperture means a smaller portion of the photo will be in focus, a smaller aperture the larger portion of the photo is in focus.
The last picture has four different different ISOs of 800, 1600, 3200 and 6400. This demonstrated that the lower the ISO the darker the image and its less grainy the higher the ISO the lighter it is but is becomes more grainy. You would want to us a high ISO when you are shooting a photo with out a tripod in low light conditions.
